How do you collect a POAP?

Simply scan the QR Code with your smartphone at participating locations. A link will appear to unlock the POAP.

What is a digital passport?

A digital passport is an online personal space, like a virtual notebook, where you store your digital memories (POAPs). It helps you track your progress, see the places you’ve visited, and check how many POAPs you’ve collected.

How does it work?

Go to a participating location.
Look for the POAP Marker (poster, window display, kiosk…).
Scan the QR Code with your smartphone and click on the link that appears.
Your POAP is unlocked!
Track your collection in your digital passport.
Once you collect 4 POAPs, head to the Tourist Office to claim your gift!

Explore Cannes is evolving to offer an even more immersive experience connected to the major events that bring the city to life.

On the occasion of major events such as the 20th anniversary of Les Plages Électroniques, the 40th anniversary of the Festival International des Jeux, and other key highlights of the destination, exclusive POAPs (Proof of Attendance Protocol) will now be created. These digital collectible souvenirs will be paired with dedicated contests, allowing participants to extend their experience well beyond the event.

🎧 First event POAP: Les Plages Électroniques 2026 (August 7–9)

This very first Cannes POAP can be collected in two ways:

By scanning the QR code displayed on screens during the event;
By commenting on the dedicated Instagram post on the @cannesfrance account.

🎁 Prizes: Once this POAP is added to your collection, you are automatically entered into the contest for a chance to win 1 three-day pass for Les Plages Électroniques 2027, as well as other exclusive gifts related to the destination of Cannes.
