Aux bons enfants

the institution for 3 generations

For three generations, this Provençal bistro has been delighting the taste buds of gourmets. Nestled in the rue Meynadier, Aux Bons Enfants, transmits the art of Mediterranean cuisine sprinkled with reminiscences of family recipes. Fish from the morning catch, fruit and vegetables from local producers are pampered in the ovens of this Cannes address which reawakens old-fashioned know-how.

La Sousta

the friendly address of the Suquet

On the side of a cobbled street, in the heart of the Suquet, La Sousta is an atypical address for enjoying authentic Provencal cuisine. In a friendly atmosphere, this Suquet restaurant with its wooded frontage is a Cannes institution where it is good to sit on the terrace. The traditional flavours evoke the proximity of the Mediterranean with specialities such as the bourride de la mer, the octopus salad or the inevitable aïoli.

UVA

the dining cellar

Halfway between a wine cellar and a chic bistro, UVA, which owes its name to the grape in Latin languages, offers a generous menu of revisited Mediterranean specialities in a friendly atmosphere. Panisses, purple artichokes, risotto, fruity tarts, all hint at the sweetness of life in the South in a joyful setting where every object invites you to feel at home. The wines accompany these gourmet nuggets and can be taken with you as you please.

Le bistrot Gourmand :

near the Forville market

a lunch on rue Hoche

Designed as a Parisian brasserie but revisited in the Cannes style, the Café Hoche is a gourmet stopover before or after shopping. In a retro chic decor, this restaurant, on either side of the rue Hoche, revisits bistro flavours such as tartars and salads, and invites you to indulge in its elegant desserts. It is also a fine tribute to Italian cuisine, with homemade pizzas cooked in the sublime oven on the other side of the street.

Le Pompon

to extend the aperitif

Located in a cobbled alleyway between rue Meynadier and rue Félix Faure, the Pompon is a confidential address with an innovative concept where the dishes are offered in small portions to be shared with friends over a drink. On the slate, you choose 3 or 4 creations accompanied in a relaxed way by the whole and generous baguette. The plates go by, and invite curiosity as well as greed, like the cream of smoked aubergines and cocoa, fried chickpeas and colonnata bacon.
