Finally retired, Perrichon embarks on the trip to the Alps with his wife and daughter Henriette. In their train carriage, Daniel and Armand compete for the hand of the beautiful Henriette. A modernised version of Labiche's famous satire, in which a modest tourist trip turns into an epic adventure full of twists and turns, mocking with cheerful good humour both the mythology of travel and the foibles of the bourgeoisie... Funny, energetic and performed with jubilant harmony!
