Les Rochambelles is the incredible true story of 30 volunteer women who, defying convention within an army that did not include women, formed the first ambulance unit to land in Normandy and liberate France!

The true story of a little-known wartime sisterhood: the first unit of female ambulance drivers deployed to the front lines during the Normandy landings. Written by the granddaughter of one of the women, the play plunges us into the heart of the conflict, bringing us closer to these heroines whose courage and dedication have until now been overshadowed by the official narrative. A timeless, intense and inspiring tribute!
