Cannes city centre

Shopping and pleasure at will

A real open-air shopping centre, the centre of Cannes has everything you could wish for. Shops, cafés, restaurants, festive bars… There’s plenty to keep you busy all day and all night. Let’s experience together the main streets of the city centre of Cannes.

The pleasure of a coffee on the terrace

to start the day

Before embarking on a shopping spree, there is nothing like soaking up the atmosphere of the street and letting yourself be won over by the good mood of the morning. To do this, go to one of the many terraces on Rue Hoche. A little coffee in the sunshine while watching the comings and goings of passers-by is the perfect way to start the day.

A few steps away, the first trendy shops open their curtains, and it’s time to go hunting for pleasures!

A shopper's paradise

The luxury of the Carré d’Or

Between the Rue d’Antibes and the Croisette is the Carré d’Or district. Living up to its name, these four streets bring together ready-to-wear boutiques, jewellers and trendy brands that make your eyes shine. It’s the perfect place to shop in peace and quiet, in a cosy atmosphere. But there’s more to the district than just shopping.

When night falls, the Carré d’Or is dressed in its festive clothes. Restaurants and lounge bars open their doors for the city’s most festive evenings. Perhaps the best place to end a day of revelry?

The Rue d’Antibes

A stunning choice

While waiting for this evening, we continue this shopping day with the place not to be missed: the rue d’Antibes. With its 800 shops, you can’t help but find what you’re looking for in this street. Big names or confidential shops, there is something to satisfy every desire, every taste and every budget. Like a pleasant walk, you go back down the street towards the town hall.

A good table

to regain strength

Shopping gives you an appetite, that’s a fact! As we approach the Old Port, we decide to make a stop at Cours Félix Faure to enjoy a tasty lunch on the terrace. Sitting in the shade of a parasol, with just the right amount of sunshine, we enjoy the view of the Allées de la Liberté and its pretty bandstand built in 1880. There is nothing like a good restaurant to recharge your batteries before continuing this day under the sign of joy and pleasure!

The charm of rue Meynadier

We are ready to continue our shopping in an emblematic street of Cannes: rue Meynadier. Wine shop, hat shop, soap factory and food shops, here craftsmanship is king. In this narrow and lively street, time seems to have stopped to preserve a village spirit. You can shop here for new items, between delicacies and the pleasure of buying beautiful fashion items.
