Every January, the winter sales mass is the highlight of every shopping trip. In Cannes, the Sales and the City event has everything to seduce window-shopping specialists. For 5 days, Cannes is transformed into an open-air shopping destination, where everything is accessible within a 3 km radius.

From the Croisette, the flagship address for luxury brands, to Rue d’Antibes, the artery that is inseparable from Cannes shopping, via Rue Hoche and Rue Meynadier, ready-to-wear and decoration boutiques offer a multitude of objects, clothes and accessories during the must-see winter event for shopping aficionados, Sales and the City.

To combine the mild winter weather in Cannes and enjoy a stay dedicated to shopping, Sales and the City deploys a multitude of privileged moments to spend in the streets and alleys of the city and a few steps from the Mediterranean.

A parade of events

As a corollary to the winter sales, fashion shows and musical entertainment punctuate these shopping days and make Sales and the City an unmissable event in January to start the year on the right foot!

Mobile show with stilt walkers, acrobats and jugglers, pedestrianisation during the weekend in the rue d’Antibes, sound system in the streets dedicated to shopping or even the rolling out of the red carpet in the rue Hoche for an open-air fashion show, there is no shortage of entertainment during Sales and the City.

Some department stores such as Galeries Lafayette also offer numerous festivities around the windows and on the floors, to combine shopping and conviviality.

A festival of good deals

In addition to the Sales and the City animations, the main event during these 5 days of January remains the shopping at low prices where the local shopkeepers offer countless good deals in the heart of their shops which are spread out in the city centre but also as far as Cannes la Bocca.

To make the most of this festival of good deals and discoveries, the car parks are getting in tune with the winter sales with a daily pass of €5.50 from 8am to 6pm during the whole Sales and the City period.

Put on your heels, trainers or ankle boots and stroll through the typical streets of Cannes for a winter shopping spree tinged with excitement and affordable prices!
