As soon as you enter the park, you are charmed by the typical vegetation. Umbrella pine forests, maquis of various varieties, mimosas… These 80 hectares of forest are a treat for our eyes and our sense of smell.

Along the botanical paths, you will discover the arboretum which contains more than 40 varieties of mimosa. It is one of the most beautiful mimosa forests on the Côte d’Azur and a real delight for the senses!

Among the many assets of the Croix des Gardes park, there are its viewpoints. As you get higher, you gradually discover the magnificent landscapes of the bay of Cannes, the Lérins islands, but also the surrounding mountains such as the Estérel massif and the Pre-Alps. This bucolic setting would not be complete without mentioning the local wildlife. You can enjoy the gentle song of the birds and be touched by the family of donkeys that live here and tend the grounds. At the top of the park, we are surprised to meet the horses of the Buhler villa, the park’s equestrian police station.

With its uneven terrain, its 3.1 km of marked out health trail and its apparatus, it is suitable for all sportsmen and women, whether beginners or experienced.
