Rue Hoche

start of the shopping tour!

First of all, no shopping on an empty stomach, so we start the day with a good breakfast to get our strength back. Direction “le Fédéral“, “Casa di Nonna” or “Maison Charlotte Busset”, all three located on Rue Hoche. As we are on Rue Hoche, we will start our shopping day at the “Charlot” boutique (10 rue Chabaud +33(0)4 93 39 95 98) to find vintage Levis jeans or unique pieces such as jackets or a pair of trainers.

We’re still shopping second hand, but this time to find certified luxury items at very attractive prices, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for at “LuxuryandPrim” (9 rue d’Alger +33 (0)4 93 99 47 14) accessories, bags, jewellery, watches and even clothes from the big fashion houses. I love going there without looking for anything in particular and discovering nuggets! A nice selection, sometimes with new pieces.

The shop is also a store, you can drop off the pieces that are sleeping in your wardrobes to give them a second life and finance new purchases!

I like the idea of consuming differently, less but better.

For a few years now I have preferred to have one beautiful piece with a nice composition that will last over time than several that will not. Doing good to the planet and to one’s wallet, the famous adage, quality over quantity will make sense.

Rue d’Antibes

the must-have!

We start with the COS boutique, rue d’Antibes (105 rue d’Antibes +33 (0)4 89 12 95 50), which offers basic and timeless pieces made from sustainable materials. They have recently launched a range of recycled cashmere!

For the pleasure of the eyes!

Since we are not far from the Kartell shop, which is located a little further up the rue d’Antibes (at number 154 – Tel. +33 (0)4 93 45 85 44), I advise you to go there for the pleasure of your eyes, well ok less for your wallet…

We move on to a fashion accessory that is a must in Cannes: sunglasses! Let’s go to Jimmy Fairly (43 rue d’Antibes), you will find sunglasses mainly made of Eco Acetate, a vegetable and biodegradable material. Unique design collections.

Then, let’s go shopping for the kids at Monoprix (9 rue du Maréchal Foch 04 92 99 61 61) or Petit Bateau (50 rue d’Antibes +33(0)4 93 38 05 82).

The shop of my childhood

We’ll finish this shopping trip with a shop that I’ve loved since I was a little girl, “Bathroom Graffiti” (52 rue d’Antibes +33 (0)4 93 39 02 32). It was a bit of a tradition with my parents and my little brother to go there every time we went shopping. Located in the centre of Cannes, a real Ali Baba’s cave for over 40 years, in short the ideal place to find THE perfect gift when you don’t know what to give, or simply to please yourself! A selection of design and original products.

This article is coming to an end, I hope you will enjoy this trip to Cannes to discover my good addresses, to recover from your emotions and regain your strength, I advise you to have lunch on rue Hoche at “Le Cirque” you won’t be disappointed.
