Le Théâtre du Corps est le fruit de la rencontre entre Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Étoile légendaire de l’Opéra de Paris, et le danseur Julien Derouault.
The story of Giselle is a timeless tale based on universal emotions. And so, it was only natural that it would inspire the duo Marie-Claude Pietragalla and Julien Derouault, brought together at the head of the Théâtre du Corps, whose artistic work strives to express a dance revealing its own humanity. Through this creation, Giselle(s) becomes the symbol of resistance in the face of violence against women.
