Dominique Pavard exhibition - Painting happiness

Between the Mediterranean and the Cordillera, a singular palette

Thirty paintings are presented, thirty suspended moments that tell the story of a world at once dreamlike, fascinating and realistic.

Between poetry and pointillism, Dominique Pavard depicts the Côte d'Azur and the Andes in a luminous universe where each of her canvases, created from thousands of meticulously deposited colored droplets, constitutes a truly immersive experience for the viewer.

Among the works on display are Cannes Carlton (2012), Quito, Plaza San Francisco (1984), Ciel jaune (2025), Le Suquet de Cannes (2017), Menton (2021) and Rue andine (1982), all of which testify to the diversity of his artistic career.

An artist between two continents

Dominique Pavard, born in Provence and raised in Cannes, grew up in an artistic environment, admiring her father's paintings.

Fascinated by the Andes, their multicolored markets and polychrome-tiled cities, she began painting to express her artistic emotions. She then exhibited in Quito, Bogota, San José and Dallas, before returning to France, where she won several prestigious prizes, including the 1st Grand Prix all sections and the 1st International Naïve Section Prize of the Côte d'Azur International Grand Prix, as well as the Gold Medal of the 12th Baie des Anges International Grand Prix.

Alongside her studies in Classics and European conferences, Dominique Pavard continues her artistic work, blending memories of the Côte d'Azur with Andean inspirations.
