As every year, the neighbourhoods of Cannes, from the city centre to La Bocca, via République, live to the rhythm of this great traditional festival synonymous with celebration and sharing. .
Discover a full program of activities to celebrate Christmas for all tastes and ages.
Opening on Friday, November 28th from 7 PM with the Christmas Village and ice rink.

I) The Christmas Village - Les Allées de La Liberté – Cannes
Date: From Friday, November 28, 2025 to Sunday, January 4, 2026 inclusive.
A chalet for activities and Santa Claus will be set up at the Christmas market.

The traditional Christmas Village with its chalets and illuminated displays, activities, and ice rink.

- Artisan Chalets

A warm artisan space featuring 60 wooden chalets from creators and craftspeople where you can treat yourself and buy gifts or sample various specialties on-site.

- The Ice Rink

A 350 m² ice rink with natural ice located at the Christmas village.
From 10 AM to 1 PM: Free access reserved for children aged 4 to 10 (€3 for accompanying adults).
An instructor will be present every morning, and beginner lessons are offered.
From 1 PM onwards: €3 admission for everyone
45-minute sessions, equipment included. Gloves required (not provided).

- Provençal Nativity Scene

White Christmas illuminated parade featuring 29 performers including Santa Claus and his elves and many other surprises…

Parade route: starting from rue Meynadier (Forville market side), then via rue Venizelos, rue Buttura, rue Louis Ardisson, rue Hoche. Returning via the same route to the end of rue Venizelos to reach Les Allées de la Liberté, ending at the Music Kiosk.

SHOW "LES 1001 NOËLS"
Ages 3 and up
Christmas-themed show with a photo session with children and Santa Claus at the end of the performance. The show will be followed by refreshments offered by the municipality.

This year, Santa Claus himself gives our famous J. Balthazar a mission: to showcase Christmas and its traditions here, there, in the four corners of the hemisphere. How is Christmas celebrated on Earth? Accompanied by Poppy, Jean-Bat will take you on a wacky, dynamic, and heartwarming adventure mixing dance, circus, clown acts, and magic for the delight of young and old.

VII) New Year's Fireworks Wednesday, December 31 at midnight - Cannes Bay
New Year's Eve fireworks in tribute to Marilyn Monroe, celebrating the 100th anniversary of her birth.

VIII) Illuminations
This year, discover Christmas lights throughout the city featuring a Christmas bauble theme with patterns of decorated circles and discs with rings, baubles, or stylized snowflakes in gold and cool white tones.
A new giant illuminated Christmas tree 32 m high, located on the forecourt of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès starting Friday, December 12. It will be adorned with hundreds of stylized palm fronds and equipped with an intelligent lighting system enabling dynamic scenography. Diffusers will perfume the interior space of the tree.

NEW: A photo booth available to the public for taking selfies with the tree in the background.
A giant bubble 8 m in diameter installed at the music kiosk on Les Allées de la Liberté with decor entitled "white fairyland," featuring a polar forest with wild animals. The decor includes 14 automatons, fir trees and other stuffed animals and accessories, all enhanced with sparkling garlands.
Transparent inflatable bubbles containing scenography of automatons and fixed Christmas magic displays placed on Place Lamy and Place Commandant Maria.
Colorful projections by light artist Gaspare di Caro on the facades of numerous buildings, including the Tour de la Castre and the Eglise Notre-Dame d'Espérance, the churches of Sainte-Marguerite, Notre-Dame de Bon Voyage, Notre-Dame des Pins, and the Théâtre Alexandre III…

20 illuminated Christmas trees of various heights installed throughout the city with two new locations this year: on the Perrier/Paillassou roundabout and square Barthélémy.

Projections of moving star and snowflake images will decorate the downtown streets.
