Shopping in Cannes

Cannes is a must-see shopping destination! A veritable breeding ground for chic addresses, international brands and local nuggets, this temple of open-air shopping offers a window shopping session worthy of the greatest capitals. A veritable concentration of luxury boutiques on the mythical Croisette, Cannes is also built around its institutions in the heart of Rue d’Antibes, the city’s most commercial street, and its food shops in the historic Rue Meynadier. The unique location of the city centre means that you can get to the most famous shopping streets in Cannes in a few steps. With a wealth of places to stop for a break, and a host of events dedicated to fashion and shopping, the city of festivals has everything it takes to dazzle shopping addicts!

The Croisette

the iconic address for luxury brands

Nestled alongside the legendary palaces, the great names of haute couture, jewellery and leather goods have taken up residence on the mythical boulevard of the Croisette. From Chanel to Hermès, via Cartier and Christian Dior, the most emblematic brands of luxury watch over this jewel of Cannes facing the fine sandy beaches.

Rue d’Antibes

the epicentre of Cannes shopping

Parallel to the Croisette, the Rue d’Antibes is the busiest shopping street in Cannes. With more than 800 shops lining it, it is home to the most fashionable brands and chic shops, which have become Cannois institutions over the seasons. Like Louis Julian, a watchmaking house founded in 1862, or Trabaud, which perpetuates masculine elegance.

Rue Commandant André

and the new designers

A link between the glamorous Croisette and the chic Rue d’Antibes, Rue du Commandant André has undergone a metamorphosis in recent years. Now, this preamble to the carré d’Or is full of addresses appreciated by fashionistas for the contemporary and sharp universe of its new boutiques. Claudie Pierlot, Zadig et Voltaire, Pinko and RedValentino are forging the new face of this popular street in Cannes.

Rue Meynadier,

authentic shopping

At the foot of the Suquet, a few steps away from the Forville market, rue Meynadier is the historical street of Cannes’ commerce. Mainly dedicated to the food trade at the beginning of the last century, it also houses one of the oldest shops in Cannes, the Tesi hat shop. Over the years, this typical Provençal alleyway has become home to a multitude of typical addresses that are appreciated by those who love good shopping, gourmet specialities and souvenirs.

Rue Hoche

the most fashionable street

For a few years now, rue Hoche has been attracting the whole of Cannes! At its addresses, ideal for a gourmet break at lunchtime or snack time, unusual and contemporary boutiques have set up along this pedestrian street, a stone’s throw from the station. Jewellery, designer glasses, decorative objects or limited edition clothes, the rare pearl is surely to be found in rue Hoche!
