Festival International du Film Ecologique et Social

Under the sign of the living, the festival honours the youth and those who make cinema a medium of expression, commitment and inspiration. They have this capacity to contribute to the embodiment of new imaginations.

The screenings will take place at Les Arcades cinema (77 rue Félix-Faure in Cannes) and at the Olympia cinema (5 rue d'Antibes in Cannes).

1 June - Opening ceremony
From 6pm: opening ceremony, Place de la Castre, Suquet.
6.30pm: The B.A.L. Arts Légers theatre company will present the show Bulle, Une Odyssée.
From 7.30 pm: a vegetarian and organic meal will be offered by Chef Simon Duval.
8.30 pm: presentation of the members of the jury and the films selected in competition.
9pm: performance by the dance company Les Somatonautes.
9:30 pm: screening of the documentary UTOPIE-S Sarayaku by Henri Poulain with the participation of Solène Penchèvre, author on the Amazonian peoples.

From 1 to 4 June - Film screenings
Cinemas Les Arcades and Olympia

2 June - Cinéma Plage
From 6pm to midnight: on Macé beach, with the dance company Les Somatonautes and the screening of the film Under (Si:), by Jason deCaires Taylor directed by Morgan Le Faucheur.

3 June - Village des Initiatives
From 3pm to 10pm: in the Allées de la Liberté, associations and companies committed to ecological and social issues will be present. There will be round table discussions on transformative territorial projects.

4 June - Closing ceremony
6pm: Closing ceremony, Place de la Castre, Suquet.
The jury will award the different prizes of this 3rd edition: The "Golden Seed", the "Coup de Coeur" prize, the "Jury's Special" prize, the "Youth" prize. Dance and music will awaken our senses with a concert. An innovative plant-based catering area and a refreshment bar will highlight local products.
