One day, young Peter is walking in the meadow next to his house and meets a bird, a duck and a cat. Worried, Peter's grandfather tells the boy to go home immediately, fearing that the wolf will appear. He takes Peter back to the garden and locks the gate. Once his grandfather has returned, Peter sees the wolf coming and swallows the duck!
Climbing up a tree, one of whose branches extends to the garden wall, the young boy, with the help of the bird, manages to capture the wolf with a rope. When the hunters appear, Peter tells them that they are too late and that he has already captured the wolf. They all lead the beast to the zoo in a triumphant march.
