Nothing is static in Min Jung-Yeon's extremely delicate works. Nothing is completely real and nothing is completely imaginary. Min Jung-Yeon's deep interest in science, especially space exploration, is linked to her keen observation of nature from a young age in the South Korean countryside. Born in the Republic of Korea and living in France, her work allows her to reflect on intimate questions, on the concept of identity but also on her spiritual and symbolic heritage, referring to Korean shamanic rituals for example. Drawings, paintings, volumes, installations, Min Jung-Yeon is at ease in all dimensions, from the infinitely small to the monumental.
